Cards & BooksCards are hand-made and hand-signed "Windridge Solitude" on the front with a nature photo of somewhere on our property. Our photoartist who hand makes every card is Sr. Anne Margaret Hunt. Occasionally a photo may have been taken by another member of the community, but most are taken by her. The cards look professionally done, yet have that personal touch. Samples of photos can be found at the bottom of this page. We have many, many other photos, as you can see if you click on the "Nature" tab above. As a matter of fact, if there is a photo in the Nature tab that you would like in a card, just describe it and we can make it into a card. We will change the photos below occasionally so you can see others if you check this web site every now and then. Put this page in your "Favorites" so you can quickly call it up again. When Ordering Cards: We ask for a donation of $3 per card [size 5" X 7"]. This will cover both the cards and the postage to send them to you. If you wish to purchase one or several, email us at info@windridgesolitude.org to let us know right away what you want (for example, "I'd like five of Card #12) so that we may make them for you. [Please note that the card's number is beneath the picture.] Then mail us your payment (checks may be made out to either Windridge Solitude or Companions in the Infinite Love) to 1932 West Linda Lane, Lonedell, MO 63060. Once we receive your payment, the cards will be on their way to you. Or, next time you come for a stay, you can pick up what you would like in our library. How's that for a good excuse to take care of yourself with some well-needed solitude? Sr. Carolyn Callahan has published four novels under the name C. S. Callahan via a new Catholic publishing company called Bezalel Books. You can read about the books and author by logging onto www.bezalelbooks.com where you will also be able to purchase them. Another website for purchasing would be www.amazon.com. You can also request copies to be ordered through your favorite bookstore. Her novels are excellent for book clubs, in addition to just being interesting to read. Her novels are:
